soft, silent t-shirt protest at the New York Philharmonic
Protesters should arrive by no later than 7:00 PM to place themselves in the areas marked off by the organizing committee.
There will be “I Can’t Breathe” and “The Dream Unfinished” shirts available. We will sit en masse together in the park. Once we get clearance from the parks department, we will be able to distribute fliers or postcards for our event.
As these concerts have attendances that have been as high as 50,000 people, we have the potential to bring a huge amount of attention to our cause. However, this is NOT meant to disruptive, and will be a “soft” protest. No signs will be used.
