Let US make 2015 the last year that Columbus Day is recognized in the U.S. With an Act of Congress, Indigenous Peoples’ Day can be a national holiday, and Columbus Day can be abolished. On Monday, October 12, 2015, be a part of this campaign. Let elected officials hear our collective and powerful voice.

We no longer wish to celebrate a man who is responsible for torture, rape, slavery, and genocide. We longer wish to see monuments in our cities that revere him. We no longer want our children to be taught a revisionist history.
